Explorations of traditional Print and Film

Come to Vancouver Community Library. Make a print on a postcard, bookmark or on clear film leader on a Willits Canoe Company c.100 year old printing press. This printing press is  on loan from the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum to the Westport Aquarium. In honor of America 250 Westport Aquarium is taking this historic printing press on tour all over the state to Museums, Schools and Libraries. In this special event at the Vancouver Community Library we will be creating paper prints and film in clear film leader. We will be watching the films the Library visitors make on a c. 100 year old hand crank film projector.
