Fighting for the Puyallup Tribe
September 18, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for the launch of We the People, a new series of free public programs on the third Thursday evening of each month.
The first event features Ramona Bennett, a renowned leader of the Puyallup Tribe. For over six decades, she has been at the forefront of Native rights and environmental causes. From the Fish Wars and the Fort Lawton takeover to Wounded Knee and the Trail of Broken Treaties, Bennett will share firsthand stories from her upcoming memoir, Fighting for the Puyallup Tribe. This program is organized in partnership with the University of Washington Press.
