Gallery 4500 is honored to represent Washington State as part of the nation’s America 250 celebration, commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence.
Rather than define what America is, we chose “My America” as an invitation. Intentionally broad in scope, the theme opens a space for many voices, perspectives, and experiences. It acknowledges that America is not a single story, but a tapestry woven from individual memories, hopes, histories, and dreams. Each work in this exhibition reflects a personal vision—of place, identity, belonging, challenge, beauty, or possibility. Together, these diverse expressions remind us that the story of America is continually being created through the lives and imaginations of its people.
