Let’s Talk About Money in Politics

On September 17th, Constitution Day, the Jefferson County League of Women Voters will hold a public discussion about money in politics.  Fix Democracy First, a Washington State organization, and American Promise, a national organization, will present, in person,  their work on stopping excessive corporate and outside/foreign spending in our elections, and the return of control of our elections to the citizens of the US.  There will be a question and answer period after their presentations.  The event will be held at a community hall, The Cotton Building, in Port Townsend, and will be open to the public, and promoted to the whole of Jefferson County.
