SUMMARY:Let's Talk About Money in Politics
DESCRIPTION:On September 17th\, Constitution Day\, the Jefferson County League of Women Voters will hold a public discussion about money in politics.  Fix Democracy First\, a Washington State organization\, and American Promise\, a national organization\, will present\, in person\,  their work on stopping excessive corporate and outside/foreign spending in our elections\, and the return of control of our elections to the citizens of the US.  There will be a question and answer period after their presentations.  The event will be held at a community hall\, The Cotton Building\, in Port Townsend\, and will be open to the public\, and promoted to the whole of Jefferson County.
